HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY ALACRA!

On the evening of July 20th, 2006, Alacra marked it’s 10th Anniversary. At a time when many investors focus only on the next quarter, and most startups don’t make it past their first year, ten years is quite an accomplishment. Many contributed to that success – the employees who’ve worked so hard, the early adopters who were willing to trust a startup with their business and the content partners without whom we’d have no products. While the business has had to adapt to changes in customer needs and market conditions, Alacra’s core vision of delivering content in support of a user’s workflow, backed by exceptional customer service, remains unchanged. That evening, many of those partners and customers joined our employees in celebration of the past ten years. We thank you for your support and look forward to many more years of working together. NEW ALACRA WEBSITE

The Alacra website redesign (www.alacra.com) was launched in late August. This effort has been in the works for some time and clearly articulates Alacra's vision. An updated "look and feel", accompanied by a host of new features and access to content provides the Alacra community with easier access to more detailed product information for each of Alacra's products. Alacra Premium subscribers also beneift from a dedicated log-in page available at https://secure.alacra.com/login.

ALACRA STAFF CHANGES

Andrew Dow joined Alacra in September as our newest Senior Sales Executive. He will be working with Account Manager Carolyn Meyer covering the Southeast U.S. as well as major accounts in New York City. Andrew comes to us with extensive information industry experience having worked in various capacities at FactSet Research Systems for more than seven years prior to joining Alacra. Scott Epstein also joined Alacra in September as our newest Account Manager covering the Northeast region, Canada, as well as a host of strategic accounts. Prior to becoming part of the Alacra team, Scott spent the last three years as a Key Account Manager at MarketResearch.com. Allison Rowley joined Alacra in May as Quality Assurance Analyst. Allison will be responsible for developing and executing test plans for Alacra products and projects. Allison has more than six years experience in software quality assurance. Most recently, she served as QA Analyst for Tishman Speyer, on an internal ticketing and reservation application. Prior to that, she was the lead Software QA Analyst for Scientific Games International, a global provider of lottery systems. Email Allison at allison.rowley@alacra.com.

Sandy Rajkumar also joined Alacra in May as our Receptionist and Office Manager. Sandy comes to Alacra from Dreamwear Inc. where she had a similar role. Roy Persaud joined Alacra in June as our Client Support Manager of the evening shift. Prior to coming on board with our organization, Roy worked at Lehman Brothers where he was an SEC specialist and researcher for seven years. His career in this industry began at Disclosure, which provided him with a strong background in SEC documents and fundamentals. Roy’s knowledge of our client’s workflow combined with his prior experience is proving to be a great asset to Alacra. Email Roy at roy.persaud@alacra.com.

Todd Robichaud also joined Alacra in June as General Counsel. Todd is responsible for contract drafting, negotiation and advisory duties in connection with customer contracts, content provider and partner contracts. Prior to joining Alacra, Todd was Senior Attorney at Anderson, Kill & Olick, P.C. representing multinational corporations, non-profit organizations and individuals in complex litigation and business disputes. Steven Davison has been promoted to Quality Assurance Analyst within the Product Management department. For the past year, Steve has served as a customer support specialist on the second shift.
